Overview
This year’s ride will take place in the north of Israel with an emphasis on the Galilee, the Golan Heights, and the Mediterranean coast. The four-day route includes 50-mile daily rides with options for extra challenges and shorter distances. Touring opportunities are available throughout the four-days in northern Israel with visits to beautiful and fascinating natural, cultural and historical sites.

On some days, there will be the option to do a combination of cycling and touring. Touring is based on advanced registration and/or space.

People with disabilities – war veterans, blind riders, children from ISCD and professional para-cyclists – are participating in Good Wheel 2019, making this an amazing opportunity to create friendships and bonds with people of different nationalities and backgrounds.

In the evenings, after freshening up and enjoying a relaxing dinner in the hotel, activities will offer opportunities to learn, socialize and have fun. Activities include, happy hours, inspirational talks, unique workshops, socializing and entertainment.

Touring Day 1 | Yerucham Lake

Yerucham Lake: Hike around the pastoral oasis, Yerucham Park. See and learn about the blooming flora unique to the region and the development of the area in the last 70 years.

Mamshit: At this UNESCO World Heritage Site, hear the story about the Nabatean people and explore ruins of what started as a wayside stop and developed into a city on the famous Incense Route.

Hike along a narrow canyon lined with swirling gorgeous reddish sandstone. The colorful and narrow Red Canyon gorge is one of the finest examples of geological color in the Eilat mountain range.

After the festive closing ceremony and dinner, transportation to the airport or other locations in Tel Aviv will be provided based on advanced registration.  Good Wheel 2019 will conclude at 6 pm in northern Israel.
